Absence of Short-Term Variability of CTA 102.

Short-time variations in intensity of about 40 percent, with a period of the order of 100 days, have been reported for the quasistellar radio source CTA 102 at 32.5-centimeter wavelength. We have observed CTA 102 at 25.5-centimeter wavelength over a 67-day, period and have detected no significant variations of intensity.

COMPTEL observations of the γ-ray blazars 3C 454.3 and CTA 102 during the CGRO mission

We have investigated the MeV behaviour of the γ-ray blazars 3C 454.3 and CTA 102 by analyzing all COMPTEL observations of this sky region during the complete CGRO mission. Both sources are detected by COMPTEL at the upper COMPTEL energies, although their flux estimates may be uncertain by possible minor contributions of nearby unidentified EGRET γ-ray sources. While CTA 102 was only detected at...

Radio Emission of Solar Flare Particle Acceleration

The solar corona is a very dynamic plasma on time scales of decades to a few milliseconds. Radio missions provide diagnostic tools particularly suited for the analysis of non-thermal electron distributions, enhanced levels of various kinds of plasma waves and plasma phenomena related to electron acceleration in flares. Very intense coherent emissions are observed at frequencies below about 3GHz...

The Radio Properties of the dMe Flare Star Proxima

We present radio observations of the dM5.5e are star Proxima Centauri at 20, 13, 6, and 3.5 cm. The star was only detected during an impulsive, highly circularly{polarized and apparently narrowband are at 20 cm, similar to those seen on other dMe are stars. This are was detected in just 1.7 hrs of observing time spanning a 12 hr period, suggesting that Proxima Centauri may be a proliic producer...

The Giant Flare from SGR1806-20 and its Radio Afterglow

The multi-wavelength observations of the 2004 December 27 Giant Flare (GF) from SGR 1806−20 and its long-lived radio afterglow are briefly reviewed. The GF appears to have been produced by a dramatic reconfiguration of the magnetic field near the surface of the neutron star, possibly accompanied by fractures in the crust. The explosive release of over 10 erg (isotropic equivalent) powered a one...
